Moving Toward a Cure: The Legacy of Full Court For A Cure
While our Full Court For A Cure campaign has officially come to a close, the mission to save Grady and Jace Binder is more urgent than ever. This month-long effort successfully united compassionate individuals across the country in a powerful show of hope and teamwork.
Originally launched to honor Grady and Jace’s 14th year, the campaign served as a pivotal jumping-off point for our larger goal: funding a life-saving gene therapy.
The Fight Against PKAN
Grady and Jace, the twin sons of Barron native Erin (Lindberg) Binder, are bravely battling a rare and devastating genetic condition called Pantothenate Kinase-Associated Neurodegeneration (PKAN). This condition is progressive, but there is a breakthrough on the horizon.
We are proud to partner with the Loving Loic Foundation (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) to fund the only known cure for PKAN. This gene therapy is the key to giving children like Grady and Jace the future they deserve.
Our Goal: The Final $1.3 Million
The campaign may have ended, but the clock has not stopped. We are currently working to raise the final $1.3 million required to move this therapy forward. Your continued support is the bridge between a scientific breakthrough and a cure in the hands of the children who need it.
