100% of the proceeds from our "Full Court For A Cure" campaign and event will go directly to The Loving Loic Foundation to fund critical, life-saving research.
Who is Loic?
The foundation was started in honor of Loic Blackford, a brave and joyful little boy who—just like Grady and Jace—is battling PKAN.
Loic is described by his family as a true "lover at heart." He is a boy who loves dinosaurs, the movie Turning Red, spaghetti, and zooming around with his red toy car. Despite being diagnosed with PKAN at just two years old, his spirit remains unbroken. He is full of hugs, kisses, and an infectious energy that lights up every room he enters.
But Loic is fighting a clock. PKAN is a progressive disorder, and currently, there is no cure. His parents, Sherine and Mark, founded the organization to change that reality not just for Loic, but for every child facing this diagnosis.
The Mission: Turning Heartbreak into Hope
The Loving Loic Foundation has a single, laser-focused goal: To fund a lifetime cure for PKAN.
They are not just raising awareness; they are funding the actual science that will save lives. The foundation has partnered with a "dream team" of researchers at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and UMass Chan Medical School.
Together, these scientists are developing a Gene Therapy treatment. This groundbreaking science aims to deliver a healthy copy of the PANK2 gene directly to the brain, effectively fixing the "broken fuel line" that causes the disease.

The Loving Loic Foundation is currently on a mission to raise $5 million to move this gene therapy from the laboratory into Human Clinical Trials. This is the final hurdle before a treatment can reach the children who need it.
