Meet the Binders
The Binder family is a deeply close-knit Wisconsin family based in Eau Claire, consisting of Dad Dustin, Mom Erin, 14-year-old twin sons Grady and Jace, 10-year-old Owen, and their dog Rex. Mom Erin is a native of Dallas and a graduate of Barron High School, while Dad Dustin hails from Marshfield. Today, their life centers on supporting Grady and Jace as they bravely battle PKAN. Ten-year-old Owen is a wonderful, helpful brother who plays a vital role in their care and daily life. Though the twins have progressively lost their physical abilities, the family has beautifully adapted their favorite activities. They remain committed to their regular neighborhood walks and bike rides—a powerful testament to their resilience and determination to stay active together, even if those activities look different today.

Grady or Jace? Here’s Your Guide.
You would be hard-pressed to find Grady and Jace wearing anything other than their signature green and yellow. Even on Halloween, their devotion to these colors shows: Grady dresses as Bowser and Jace as Luigi, reflecting their favorite characters from Mario Kart.
If for some reason they have decided not to wear their regular uniform and you need another hint, Grady wears the glasses with the clear frames and Jace has dark frames. If they aren't wearing their glasses, you're on your own. 😉
